In Hebrews 2:5–9, the author shows that God intended to put the world in subjection to man and not to angels. However, humanity failed when sin and death entered the world. But God made a way by putting everything in subjection to Jesus, who was made low by taking on humanity in order to fulfill the purpose for which man was created, and who suffered death to pay the penalty for sin.
