Listen "Creature Comforts | Migratory Birds"
Episode Synopsis
Dr. Frank Moore, Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Southern Mississippi, has studied the biology of migratory songbirds across North America, but most intensely along the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico for over 30 years. Today we will talk about these migratory birds that visit Mississippi along with their flights and some of the hazards they tend to face. Also, we hear from David Mizejewski as the National Wildlife Federation works with Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom to celebrate National Wildlife Week (April 4-8). Hosted on Acast.
