I’m thinking about starting a YouTube channel so I started watching YouTube videos for worked, and what didn’t. I noticed how they hook you with a topic and then drone on and on about sidetracks always teasing that they’re going to tell you the thing you want to hear but are taking forever to get to it. It was driving me crazy. And then I learned you need 4,000 hours of approved watch time to qualify for monetization. (And that a lot of legit viewing apparently is not counted by the algorithm if it comes in a big spike that be from bots or ads on other platforms…even if it isn’t you are SOL).
