About Nicky: Proud of her Native American Echota and Alabamian roots, Nicky has been in New York since 2004 (and still loves it!). She holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology and got her start in NYC alongside Becky Straw at charity: water in the early years of the organization. From providing direct services at the New York County District Attorney’s Office to leading the first NGO to reach 1 million followers on social media to leading NGO’s and tech startups in their partnerships and social impact efforts, Nicky has over a decade of experience in growing nonprofits, building startups and forging social impact relationships that scale with technology.
