Listen "My #1 Strategy If You've Ever Worked With Another Direct Sales Company"
Episode Synopsis
Hey savvy leaders. It’s Tammy Meyer. We’re here for episode 91! Have you ever switched direct sales companies? Or has there ever been another direct sales company in your past? Ever? Different from the one you’re with now? It’s so common. Right. You’re listening to the right episode if you’ve ever tried, attempted, worked it but didn’t succeed, worked it and did succeed, and then stopped, and either a short amount of time passed, or a long amount of time has passed, and now you’re with another company, any which way you’ve been involved in the business aspect of another direct sales company, and now you’re with a different company, you’re in the right episode. I have one important strategy for you. Have you done this yet? Keep listening! And you can find the full transcript of this episode and all the clickable links at crazybigdreams.biz/91. I this is not you, please tag or forward this to someone you know who’s had another company in their past. Let me clarify the past involvement I’m really speaking to here. Because a lot of Direct Sales individuals support other direct sales individuals by making purchases. They have a great product and great service so we maybe purchase from one another. Yes. That’s not what I’m talking about. Not those companies. I’m talking about the companies that you had any level of interest in pursuing the business opportunity, and you’re no longer with that company. A lot of people tell me “Well I never really did the business though.” Still, even in those situations, it doesn’t matter how or if you acted or followed through on the desire to pursue and build that business, it matters that you once had a glimmer of a thought or desire to build that business. It also doesn’t matter if the experience with that former company was successful or not. Maybe you were wildly successful with a former company. Maybe you even made it to the highest rank! Maybe you didn’t make it to the highest possible rank, but you made it to the leadership level. You had a team. Ok. Regardless of the success you did or did not have, I still want you to check in with this strategy I have for you. The strategy I have is still relevant and beneficial for you. The strategy I have for you is to get rid of everything that represents that company. Yes. You heard me right. Get rid of everything that represents that company. Everything. Everything that has the logo on it. Every coffee mug, beach towel, hoodie, t-shirt, bag, and here’s the big one. Product. When I say get rid of I trust you to do the sustainable thing and recycle, donate, gift, and maybe sell?? Mind your p’s and q’s on that – they may have some rules about selling, but those gifts you earned, the notepads and pens, even the incentive gifts you earned even if they don’t have the company logo on, all of those. Scour your email, your hard drive, your iCloud, your camera roll, your car, and every room of your house. Be intentional about looking for and finding everything you can. Every once in a while well into the future, you’ll come across that rogue pen or gift or little nick-nack thing that you overlooked or forgot about. No big deal. But do one good intentional sweep through all of your belongings. You may be surprised at how much you have. You don't want to miss the rest of this!
