When he does, he is understood to be a physical manifestation of the one LORD and an encounter with the invisible God. Long before his incarnation, Christ appears to present a visible manifestation of God’s presence among his people in bodily form.   _______________   Christ is the Angel of the Lord who makes God’s personal presence known among his people.   _______________   I. God will raise up a deliverer for his people (13:1-7)   II. God will make his presence known among his people (13:8-20)   III. God will accomplish his purposes through his people (13:21-25)
