I have a very special announcement to make today! Fifteen years ago this weekend, my niece Akor and nephew Peter were adopted into the Balmer family! What better time to announce my new children’s book coming this spring called Lucy’s Adoption Song.This story is based on my sister and brother-in-law's journey to meet Peter and Akor for the first time. Lucy, the character I created for my first children’s book, Can I Take it to Heaven? will be taking the lead in this next story, preparing and travelling to meet her new siblings.
