Commander Deanna Lindeman joined us first, sharing updates on SAV recruitment, upcoming February training classes, and the wide range of essential skills volunteers learn — from defensive driving and traffic control to report writing, radio communication, and first aid. Steve shared real scenarios, including a major scam stopped just this morning when a resident trusted her instincts and came to the Scam Squad before the process of sending over $15,000 to a caller.
