Listen "2.01: Gerardo - Community College, Movies & Film, and the Realities of Being Undocumented"
Episode Synopsis
Hello and welcome to season 2 of College & Kombucha! Thank you all for your patience during this break while I got some rest from the past semester and as I tried to get into the right headspace before diving into another season. But I'm back with a whole new batch of guests ready to share their stories that I'm so excited to share with you all. In this episode, I talk to Gerardo, who is a good friend of mine from high school. We talk about his perceptions of how our alma mater approached promoting college to us when we were in high school, the realities that he's had to deal with as an undocumented person living in the US, and how his goals with going back to school have changed since the last time we hung out. We also talked about his own creative endeavors including photography, films that came out this year that we're both excited about, as well as maybe (hopefully) starting a podcast of his own!
