For the first time on Coffee and Deathsticks, we provide an unsolicited commentary track for the forgotten misfire, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The only superhero movie to be released in 2009, this film sneaked in just after the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the release of Iron Man in 2008 and just before the start of the new generation of X-Men films with X-Men: First Class in 2011. It is known as the bad one, but this movie does not receive enough attention for how truly terrible it is. We explain in detail why this is such a failure.
