Episode Synopsis

Mark 14:26–31 illustrates the sobering yet gracious truth that even the most devoted followers of Christ will stumble and fail, as the disciples did after the Last Supper. True worship then does not rest in our own human strength, but in the sovereign reign of God, who sustains His people through their failures. Far from being a final defeat, our failures become a divine means to deepen our dependence on Christ, revealing the sufficiency of His grace, and pointing us to the gospel's power to restore and sustain.
