This episode is the first episode I did on Wisdom.com:   In scripture the "Latter rains" are rains that occur after crops have begun to grow and these rains provide water for nutrients and sustenance of crops.   Scripture speaks of the latter rains in James 5:7, Deuteronomy 11:14 Zechariah 10:1, Joel 2:23-24 In scripture the first rain were for the seeds to start growing and so that they would sprout.  But the Latter rains sustained those plants to continue to grow until it was time for them to be harvested.  God's Holy Spirit represents these rains.  One can do a study to learn about Gods outpouring of His Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost and then, in the time we are living now, how Gods Holy Spirit continues to be our strength for today.  I don't want to go into the detailed study because what God had given me for this episodes is a Word of encouragement for someone to keep pressing on and stay in faith.  Many times we worry in prayer, but God's Holy Spirit is always with us as our comforter, our peace and our deliverer.     10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
