After 5 weeks of travelling around Europe, I returned home to my beautiful 5 year old Cavoodle, Nessie, and guess what the first thing I did was? I got out my treat pouch and went straight back to basics with her loose lead walking. Why? Because she just spent the last month pulling on the lead when she went for walks with my parents which is completely OKAY.
I'm not upset or irritated at the regression.
In fact, I am just so grateful I got to go on a holiday and have her so well looked after and the fact of the matter is, as a Cavoodle parent, you have to accept that there WILL be minor setbacks in your Cavoodle's training and behaviour over the course of their life.
