Cate takes the group through the text and an explanation of what this first lesson of the Holy Spirit asks us to do as a practical application.To have all God's Love, Peace and Joy, Give all God's Love Peace and Joy to all.There is a 40 minute experiential meditation at the end of the Satsang, where Cate takes everyone very gently and slowly through the application of the practice of the Holy Spirit's first lesson. You can do this meditation on its own, if you would like to start there, but I do recommend you read the text of this section before hand or listen to the reading of the text in the video.The Holy Spirit's first lesson is clearly given to us in Chapter 6, V, paragraph 4, Line 7...."Only ONE EQUAL GIFT can be offered to the EQUAL SONS OF GOD, and that is FULL APPRECIATION. Nothing more and nothing less. Without a range, order of difficulty is meaningless, and THERE MUST BE NO RANGE in what you offer to your brother."So, we are asked to ONE EQUAL GIFT which is to offer full appreciation to EVERY SON OF GOD, without a range, without selecting ones we want to offer full appreciation to and excluding ones we don't want to give full appreciation to.If we want peace, we must surrender to "not knowing" how to come to be peaceful and have the little willingness to practice this first lesson of the Holy Spirit. We have to let go of trying to understand how this lesson will bring us to peace. Remember, Jesus says, just "do only this" ..... so our job is to "do only the offering of full appreciation to every brother", and see how we feel. Its very simple. Do the exercise as he asks us to do it and validate for ourselves, if we feel any different from before we did the exercise.In this validation, we can come to see that, our willingness to let go of the past and offer all our brothers, equally, full appreciation, we realise that we get filled up with the love and peace that we so desire.If we step back and resign as our own teacher and follow these lessons of the Holy Spirit, we come closer to having the peace of God and thus, healing. This way, we naturally offer God's effortless pure love to all and our brother's mind receives the miracle of God's Love from us.Blessings of holy love xxx
