The group begins with extending love to each other and Cate explains how this is a good practice to get into no matter where we are or what we are doing.Cate then shares some of the details about her awakening and how she didn’t even remember how to turn her computer on at work at first, but was eventually able to step back into the world to do things. She then reminds everyone about checking in with the Course and what Jesus says if teachers are saying things that you’re not sure of. The Course always contains the truth and can be a guiding light during these times.Cate and Shannon read through Lesson 133, I will not value what is valueless, bringing in practical examples. This lesson is asking us to really look at what we’re valuing and let it go. He gives us many pointers here to help us discern what is valuable. He tells us, “First, if you choose a thing that will not last forever, what you chose is valueless.” He goes on to explain, “A temporary value is without all value.” This brings us into a clear understanding in our sorting out of what is valuable and valueless in the development of trust.“Each choice you make brings everything to you or nothing.”We ask Holy Spirit/Jesus for the lesson and ask to be shown what we are valuing that is valueless and to see what is underneath of it, the meaning we have placed on what we are valuing. He knows what we are ready to see. He knows what we are ready to let go of. We can trust that.A few minutes are given to explore the questions in paragraph 8 and this leads into meditation.
