Healing the Idea of Sickness & Death, Song of Prayer, Part 8, Satsang with Cate, 20MAR22Cate begins with “going through the eye of the needle”. She explains that nothing in your mind comes with you. On the other side of the needle is just infinite Love blessing and knowing itself.She then reveals the topic of this Satsang…that we will be discussing sickness and death. She shares how Jesus took her through a complete healing of these ideas, using her experiences to point the way. She shares with such certainty that sickness is not in the body. It’s unforgiveness in the mind. If you can, look for the unforgiving thought. Join with Him and let Him heal it. He is available to all minds all the time. Then Cate & Shannon read through the first 2 sections of ‘Healing’ in the Song of Prayer. Some good quotes from these sections are:“…healing is a sign or symbol of forgiveness’ strength…”“The body’s cause is unforgiveness of the Son of God.”“The body can be healed as an effect of true forgiveness.”“This is what death should be; a quiet choice, made joyfully and with a sense of peace, because the body has been kindly used to help the Son of God along the way he goes to God.”Throughout this reading, Cate shares what worked for her to let go of the ideas of sickness and death. She reminds everyone we cannot do this alone. We have to let ourselves be shown that it is false.Cate then reads through the last 3 paragraphs of section 27 of the Manual for Teachers, “What is Death?” She points out that the first sentence in paragraph 5, “The “reality” of death is firmly rooted in the belief that God’s Son is a body.” is the crux of the teaching.At about 1:16:00, Cate takes everyone through a meditation where we say “I am listening” and open our mind to be illuminated with this teaching.So much gratitude to everyone who joined!
