In Colossians 3:3, the Apostle Paul says, “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”When we give our lives to God through Jesus Christ, we receive the gift of righteousness. Our sinfulness doesn't make Jesus dark. He swallows up the sin, death, and corruptness in us with His righteousness. It's an imputed righteousness, a gift that can't be earned. By grace, we are cleansed, loved, and accepted. When Jesus comes in, we have hope and a future. His Spirit and light will bring conviction where needed, giving us the power to be transformed and live a new life in Christ. When the enemy tries to lie and say, “You can't please God,” you can remind him, “I can please God because my life is hidden with Christ in God. It's a free gift from my Father.” It's time to pray.
