When Jesus rose from the dead, He took our captivity captive and bestowed gifts upon us. These gifts are abilities that can only come from God. Through Jesus Christ, we are cleansed and declared as clean as God Himself. The scripture says we become God's righteousness in Christ Jesus. We’re also promised a new, abundant, eternal life, which gives us a purpose for living on this earth. Let's recognize our limitations and surrender our efforts to God. We should rely on Him to free us from sin's bondage and empower us with the gifts only He can give. Let's embrace the righteousness and abundant life God offers us through Jesus Christ and live by His will for each of our lives. My brother, my sister, it's time to pray.
