The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. (Psalm 23:1-3) Psalm 23, written by King David, beautifully illustrates that God is our Shepherd. David, having cared for his father’s sheep, understood the deep compassion and responsibility of a shepherd. He recognized that just as he looked after his flock, ensuring that none were in need, God cares for us with the same attention and love. Even when we walk through difficult times, we don’t need to be afraid, for God is with us. He prepares a place of abundance in the presence of all our challenges, and His goodness and mercy will always follow you and me all the days of our lives. God cares for you as your Shepherd. Trust Him today to meet your needs and find comfort in His presence through all of life’s challenges. My brother, my sister, It’s time to pray.
