Starting his journey with music as Concha, Jay Kotak is a transformer of a kind, playing with vibe and energy on the dance floor. The word Concha or Shankh in Spanish has a deeper meaning related to positive vibrations exuding courage, hope, optimism, willpower and bliss which is exactly what he strives to achieve with his music.

His expertise lies in different genres of Techno and Progressive house. His passion towards music grew in his teens when India was swept off by the rock and pop culture. Henceforth, taking to the console came naturally to him.

Jay has also recently warmed up to the likes of Egbert & Secret cinema(Gem records) , Space Motion & FunkAgenda. During the recent pandemic & In the lockdown period Jay has done numerous live streams including live stream for
prestigious EEMA(Event & Entertainment management assoc.) & One of the biggest techno festivals in India - HIGH TIDE. Jay is also known for curated Sundown Special Melodies.

Jay draws his inspiration from artists like John Digweed, Sahar Z, Nick Muir with a focus to connect with fans and form a community rather than aiming for perfection. He likes to experiment
with the buildup, leaving the audience wanting for more.
