A serious storm hit the southeast United States late September leaving some people and businesses in a really bad place. Parts of Western North Carolina, about an hour north of us, fully lost their buildings, but for us, we lost power for a bit over a week which means we lost revenue for over a week. That’s a big hit for a small biz and we discuss how we handled it, the steps we took, and what we’ve learned from it. This is a reflective recap on our time during Hurricane Helene. Overall, we feel grateful to be still standing, thankful for our community, and spoiled by our loyal staff.
