Commissioner Evans tells us about his struggle with addiction that led to a felony conviction. We learn how losing his right to vote was the worst part about his conviction, so once he had his rights restored, he decided to run for office himself and be a leader for his neighbors, constituents, and others who might be in the same situation he was.
