However, there’s a difference between being physically tired from a hard days work and being mentally, emotionally or spiritually weary. Weariness can be a result of sickness, grief, anxiety, or the constant struggle of trying to handle complex life situations in our own limited abilities. Extended seasons of weariness can result in excessive worry and anxiety. This occurs because our mind is staying in “alert mode".  We have a feeling of  “brain drain” and feel emotionally and spiritually numb.Extended seasons of weariness can also lead to “burn out”, a feeling of tiredness that sleep alone cannot alleviate. Thankfully, the Bible gives us the answer for a weary spirit. In this episode, we will define what it means to be weary and look at some biblical examples of people that overcame it. Through their example, we can develop a strategy to winning the war against weariness. I pray, during this episode, God will speak a word of healing to your weary mind. Jesus said, in Matthew 11:28-29, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
