Listen "Being Transformed into the Image of God - Spirit Life Part 7 "
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, Prophet Hari continues the Spirit Life series. You can find the previous episode (part 6) on Instagram. This week we unpack 2 Corinthians 3, most specifically verse 18 “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of God, therefore, wherever they went they served the purpose of representing the Creator. Satan understood the power of that, so when he deceived them into sinning, they no longer carried their original design, they began to reflect the fallen Luciferian system. In order to redeem the situation, in the generations to follow God hand-picked individuals through whom He could showcase His grace, glory and power. When we study their lives, we see elements of God; the God dimension in human beings. We didn’t get the full express image of God through them, we only saw parts of Him through fallen men. Moses was entrusted with a big mandate. He introduced to the people the way that God wanted them to live through the law. What he introduced was only a prophetic picture of the real way of living in the time to come. The law worked as a reminder to show them how far they had fallen from the original image and likeness of God. If the ministry of the law that brought awareness of sin came with glory, how much more glorious is the ministry that imparts righteousness? Moses understood that he was only the shadow of the real Saviour; everything he did was pointing to the One. He entered into a dimension of glory where his body was being transformed. When people saw this glory, they looked away, because they were made aware that they didn’t fulfil the requirement. Moses had to reduce that glory with a veil for people to engage with him, and he could not impart that glory to another, he had to keep going up the mountain. Moses was the dispensation of the law. As children of God, we are not under the ministry of the law, we are under the ministry of the Spirit of God! Jesus is not the reflection of the glory of God, He is the substance. Moses brought the requirement of God, Jesus brought the supply. The privileges we enjoy are the following: we’re able to behold the glory of God that is on the face of the Lord Jesus, and we are actively being transformed into His image. We become what we behold. You become like the dimension of glory that you are exposed to. In the Lord Jesus, there is no fading, we only keep shining brighter.
