In a game with national ramifications, the Bryant Hornets hosted a big time opponent in the Tigers of Trinity Christian, Cedar Hill, TX.  After running out to a commanding 22-point lead in the first half, Bryant 's defense held strong for a 44-40 victory.  Trinity was led by senior quarterback Shedeur Sanders,  son of Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive back Deion Sanders, who also roamed the central Arkansas sidelines as the team's offensive coordinator.
