Send us a textThe Prophet Jeremiah was used effectively by God to warn His people of their pending judgment. Though similar in their message, the way God used Jeremiah was unique. God used visual clues and dramatic performances by Jeremiah to communicate His message. In chapter 13, God uses a new priestly sash and a fifteen-hundred-mile journey to demonstrate the distance the people had put between themselves and God. It is a symbolic sash.
