Tim explains the value that sheep had at the time of Jesus’ parable and how we are all sheep who need a shepherd, regardless of how much or little we ‘follow the crowd’. John 10:27 says, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me”, which points us to 3 practical steps: to know Jesus, listen to his voice, and actively follow him. It is then that we will experience His peace, His presence, and His hand on us, even when we walk through the ‘darkest valleys’ (Psalm 23:4).
