Passive Waiting: Society says be hasty. God says wait, wait, and wait again.

Waiting keeps us in God's will. If we say we don't want to wait, we're saying we know better than God. Samuel 13:10-12

Waiting stops us from causing pain. We don't see everything God does, and we can't anticipate all the outcomes of our actions. Genesis 21

Active Waiting: Waiting prepares us for the future. Noah spent his waiting time preparing.

Waiting challenges our priorities. God is enough for us in the waiting. James 5:7

Jesus is waiting for us, His bridegroom. He is building us a house to live in with Him. A house of miracles and answered prayers. He's working in the waiting.
