As part of our summer Bible Characters series, Jonny Newbould brought a message on Peter with a message titled, 'Finding God in Failure.' God uses ordinary people and wants us to be willing to follow him. Peter changed from a half-hearted follower to a repentant disciple and in Jonny's own words, "it is better to be follower who fails than one who fails to follow." A faith like Peter is the core foundation to a relationship with God and failure reminds us that God’s love does not change towards us. Secondly, failure builds resilience, resulting in character, and lastly, failure reminds us of our need for Jesus.
