No one would light a lamp and then hide it, put it under a basket or under a bed. A version of this parable appears in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and also in Luke; however, in different places and possibly for different purposes. Using all 3 versions, Ben shares a message titled, 'How to Shine.' In order to shine well, we should show our good deeds with good intention (Matthew 5:14-16), listen with good ears to gain good understanding (Mark 4:21-25), and open our good eyes to share the good news (Luke 11:33-36).
