Spent 34 years, nine months, 15 days incarcerated for murder my cousin committed while we are out drinking and shooting pool. After serving 10 years of life sentence without parole, I receive Christ as my savior they turn my life around from drugs and making alcohol to a ministry, that would help other inmates find liberty and forgiveness. I would spend another 25 years in prison before a judge vacated. My sentence stating it was illegal, my attorney lied to me and my sentence was unconstitutional. I was released April 2012 and have lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area working as a chaplain for Babe’s Chicken Dinner House. I’ve also authored the book unshackled from Maryland to redemption, and I am privileged to travel and speak around the country.
