Marriage: a sacred institution that has been discussed at length for centuries. The frequently mentioned parallels and lessons about marriage throughout the Bible are evidence of it’s true importance to God. So, what more can be gleaned from what Peter writes in this passage? Can it be applied to unmarried followers of Christ? What’s the point of it all? This evening we will discuss God’s intention for our relationships with one another and, above all, how it reflects our relationship with Him.
