Listen "Stand: Priesthood"
Episode Synopsis
Text: 1 Peter 4:7-11
(Morning Service)
Speaker: Peter Mason
Today as we continue to look at the importance and relevance of the Reformation, we turn our gaze to what many consider the summary of the Reformation: Soli Deo Gloria — for the Glory of God alone. Our everyday lives teach us to hunger for glory and extravagance, but if we’re honest, most days seem to slowly pass by in the hum-drum of ordinariness. But the good news of the reformation is that lives of glory are not only for the celebrity, the famous, and the powerful, but also for the stay-at-home mum, the retired, the office-desk job, and the farmer. Our calling is all the same: Soli Deo Gloria.
