In this episode of the Braun Performance & Rehab Podcast, Dan is joined by Araceli Ford to discuss her journey as an athlete in running both track and field and cross country.Araceli Ford is a standout sophomore in cross country at University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, hailing from O’Connor High School. During her high-school career she was a state qualifier in 2023, a regional qualifier, and district champion in the 3,200m. She chose UIW because as early as seventh grade she visited campus and fell in love with the smaller classes and tight-knit community the program offered. On the team she’s already posting strong times (4 K – 14:39.6; 5 K – 19:06.0) as she continues building toward her goals. Beyond the track and trails, Araceli is driven by discipline, growth, and a desire to help others—especially younger runners who look up to her.
