Listen "Hour 2 - Good Riddance To Diaz, But Mets Will Spend"
Episode Synopsis
The hour kicks off with Boomer hilariously comparing the band GWAR to the Ninja Turtles and Kiss. Then, a caller brings the focus back to Mets anxiety: losing homegrown Pete Alonso would hurt worse than any free-agent miss. As Boomer assures listeners the Mets will spend, Jerry returns with an update featuring Sal Licata shouting "Good Riddance" to Edwin Díaz and an infuriated Frank The Tank. Closing the hour, Troy Aikman blasts the state of NIL, revealing he's "done" giving money after not even receiving a thank you note. Utah sells a piece of its athletic department to a private equity firm.
