Luo Binghe falls unconscious after using too much energy trying to revive Shen Qingqiu’s old body and then breaking into the holy mausoleum. Shen Qingqiu carries his body and looks for a place to use Xin Mo to escape. Along the way he runs into the old palace master and Qiu Haitang. He uses the booby traps in the tomb to defeat the old palace master, and Qiu Haitang runs away alone after she learns some shocking new information.  Shen Qingqiu hides Luo Binghe to face Tianlang-jun and Zhuzhi-lang alone, when suddenly Luo Binghe wakes up. Luo Binghe thinks that Shen Qingqiu abandoned him and is angry, but then realizes that Shen Qingqiu got injured to protect him this entire time.
