Xie Lian and his family are fugitives in hiding after xian le loses the war against yong’an. However, he now has a mortal body due to the curse shackle and is struggling to earn money to support himself and his parents. Things get worse when Mu Qing decides to leave them in order to help his own mother. On top of that, Xie Lian’s father is sick and needs expensive medicine to stay alive. Xie Lian has to resort to busking in order to earn money, but he’s forced to stop when another busking troupe resorts to desperate measures to reclaim their busking turf.
