He offers Shi Qingxuan a way to live, if he kills his own brother. Shi Qingxuan can’t do it. However, Shi Wudu tries to kill Shi Qingxuan in a murder-suicide, deciding that both of them dying is better than following He Xuan’s revenge. He Xuan then rips off Shi Wudu’s head. Shi Qingxuan goes crazy with anguish. The entire scene is witnessed by Xie Lian, hiding in Shi Qingxuan’s body with the soul shifting spell.
