The Ides of March. Historically, not a good time of year as many events have occurred during that time period, the assassination of Julius Caesar being one. Suddenly, in March of 2020, an unseen enemy known as COVID19 attacked the world and in a heartbeat drove populations behind closed doors and consumers away from their merchant relationships. Chambers of Commerce represent, empower and support those merchant relationships and they like their constituents have been faced during the past year with the greatest challenges that they have ever undergone. Chambers are a vital element of any society as they are integrated with local and state governments and in many cases are largely responsible for the passage of laws that benefit their businesses. Today I am interviewing some now movers and shakers that have recognized the challenges of the day and are implementing radical changes in their modus operandi to meet COVID19 head on. We will find out what they are up to in March 2021.
