Long-time Sydney/Eora staple, Perchance, joins us for his debut release with Big Ting Recordings. Smooth post-dub vibes are combined with gritty autonomic percussion for a full showcase of Perchance’s incredible talent as a producer. Rotate/Blup combines iconic rhythms of the breakbeat scene with warm harmonies and sequences of the melodic leaning side of bass music. The remix for this release is brought to us by a true icon of the Eora DIY electronic scene, ealing, gifting us a deconstructed glitchy reimagination of “Rotate”.

The title tune of the release, “Rotate”, is a post-dub inspired anthem, combining silky basslines with catchy chopped vocal samples. The tune whilst radio friendly, is dancefloor inspired, bound to introduce some pressure to sound systems worldwide

“Blup” showcases more of Perchance’s unmistakable skills of weaving melody and harmony. This autonomic masterpiece pays homage to the production styles of old, whilst introducing dreamy textures and elements that linger with a quiet, emotive pull.

Stepping up for the remix and closing out the release, ealing completely reimagines the title track “Rotate”, deconstructing the melodic elements into a suspenseful journey of chopped up break beats and glitched out polyrhythms. The 7-minute epic takes you on a voyage exploring the ingenuity and creativity of ealing as a producer.
