Tacy Kay Webb, a 24-year-old ICU Nurse has positioned herself to win the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo. For her, fresh off the win at Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo, the event marked her second consecutive WCRA Major win, putting her in line to be a millionaire. If Tacy Kay triumphs at May’s Rodeo Corpus Christi, she will be the first victor of the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo $1 Million Bonus and the first woman in rodeo to become an overnight millionaire. Webb, who’s daughter of a former Miss Rodeo Texas and an 8x NFR qualifier tie-down roper has the goal to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), which takes another few years of school. She plans to apply to programs in 2022 and hopefully go to school the following year and admits that she’ll probably have to set rodeo aside for a little bit.
