This was written in the 22EDO. 22EDO means an octave is divided into 22 notes instead of the standard 12. This allowed me to create weird and unusual sounds not normally heard in standard tuning.

During the time this song came into fruition I was reading a lot about microtonal music and theory as well as listening to music from the band 'Syzygys', who were a major influence on this song. This compelled me to try and create my own microtonal music. It is not something I think I will be be doing again in the future though, as not only is it much more difficult to write music with, applying and adjusting the intonation on my synthesizers every time I changed patches or made large edits to the synth was a massive headache.
