However, authentic leaders that model Jesus Christ is scarce today. Most leaders today are not shamed to demonstrate self-promotion or self-preservation to all to see. The fear of failure even turns good leaders to the other side of the coin.Questions:Why do leaders lose their way?Why do leaders with potentials derail in Christian and secular roles?What motivate people to lead?If the answers to these questions touch on power, control, prestige and money, such a leader may be trapped by external rewards as the source of fulfilment.
