In the first scene, Ananias and Sapphira try to lie to the Holy Spirit. Great fear came on those in the church when they saw the consequences. Later Peter and the apostles are arrested because the Sadducees are jealous, but an angel breaks them out of prison, which perplexes the religious leaders, but not enough to repent when they hear the gospel.
