Episode Synopsis
NOVEMBER 30 - All In or All Out3-Year-Bible Reading: Proverbs 28:27–28; Joshua 23–24//3-Year Bible Devotional Book Available on Amazon//________________________________________Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse. —Proverbs 28:27You know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed. —Joshua 23:14And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. —Joshua 24:15________________________________________It’s easy to get stuck somewhere in the middle. You want to follow God, but life gets distracting. Friends, school, sports, phones—everything competes for your attention. In Joshua 23–24, Joshua challenges the Israelites to make a clear choice: be “all in” for God or not. No halfway, no just-on-Sundays kind of faith. Meanwhile, Proverbs 28 reminds us that our actions reflect our hearts—whether we choose to help others or ignore those in need. God sees it all. When life feels chaotic or uncertain, He hasn’t failed—Joshua 23:14 says not one of His promises has fallen through. The question is: will you stay committed to Him?________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. Make the Choice: Are you fully committed to following Jesus, or just doing the bare minimum to look Christian from the outside? Joshua calls us to take a stand.2. Faith in Action: According to Proverbs, helping those in need is one way our faith shows up in real life. Are you open to seeing others’ needs, or are you turning a blind eye?3. God is Always Faithful: Even when life doesn’t go as planned, God hasn’t failed you. Can you look back and see how He’s been working things out for your good?________________________________________BOTTOM LINEGod has never let you down—and He never will. So make the choice to follow Him with your whole heart, not just when it’s convenient.________________________________________PRAYERHeavenly Father, thank You for always being faithful, even when I get distracted or forget to put You first. Help me choose You every day, to live boldly for You and love others like You do. Make me someone who sees needs and responds with compassion. I want to be all in, not halfway. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
