The Holy Spirit plays a prominent role in the book of 1 Timothy. From the opening verses, the apostle Paul reminds his protege of how crucial God’s Spirit is to living a life that honors Christ and His gospel. In fact, it is this emphasis on the Holy Spirit that first catches our attention when reading 1 Timothy.
