Listen "Melding Positive Reinforcement and Natural Horsemanship training styles"
Episode Synopsis
What exactly is positive reinforcement? Is negative reinforcement a bad thing? Can the two be used together, or are they mutually exclusive? We answer these questions and discuss how shifting from strictly pressure and release (negative reinforcement), to using a little R+ (positive reinforcement) has helped us find more willingness in our equines and how much fun the "Yes" is. McKayla and Camri have only started diving into positive reinforcement within the last couple years, so if you have a deeper insight into positive reinforcement or blending R+ and R-, please email us at the link below and we can bring you on the podcast for an interview.

**Disclaimer on this book: Camri doesn't like it in relation to trauma. When applied to the 'small' things in life, it is much more useful and relevant.**
