Listen "Balancing motherhood and horses with guests McKynzi Short and Lisa Muscarella"
Episode Synopsis
McKayla here!
This week Camri acts as part of a panel with our guests McKynzi Short and Lisa Muscarella. I've been excited about this panel for a long time, as I do not have kids and it's an ever-evolving conversation in my household as I try and fathom how I could possibly handle a child while still being able to keep up with the goals I have for myself and my horses.
McKynzi Short is a mom of an adorable toddler and a close friend of both Camri and me. She is a Brand Inspector for the state of Utah as well as a colt starter and cow horse trainer. She has long been someone I have looked up to while watching her balance her busy life with her son.
Lisa Muscarella is a mom of two boys who are both in their twenties. She provides valuable insights into how she made it work without a support system, and how she was able to make her passion for horses work even while living in New York and raising two young kids.
If you've been listening to this podcast you already know Camri, who is normally my co-host but today is acting as a valuable member of the panel. She is a mom of two cute kids who are 6 and 8 years old. She has been running her own business as a colt starter for over 9 years and has managed to balance raising her kids and growing her business.
Join me as I ask all the questions about how these women make horses and motherhood work, about the struggles, the wins, and some fun tips and strategies they've used over the years!
