Alva Hohl is a native of Iowa. He served as Pastor for The United Church of Christ in Iowa and Indiana for a span of over 40 years. He is now retired. He has a Masters from Eden Seminary in St. Louis and a Doctorate from United Seminary in the Twin Cities. Between him and his late wife, Kathy, they share two adult children. Alva is currently living in Huntington, Indiana.
