Fitzgerald is a retired CTO and chairman of the Executive Council in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas as well as a guest lecturer and mentor. Shatz is assistant dean and director of MBA Programs in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.
